先日、social distancing について、尋ねた事、覚えてる？

b) Of course, I do.　　So what?
勿論、覚えてるよ　　　で、どうしたの？

a) I know/ that we have to keep distance/ from people.
　　　　　人と距離を空ける事は、分かったよ　　　keep distance → 距離を保つ

Then,/ What should I say/ when I want people/ to stay away
　　　それで、電車の中で、距離を空けて貰いたい時は、どう言ったらいいの？

　　　want A(人）to do(動詞の原形）→ Ａに～して貰いたい
　　　stay away from A(人、物）→ Ａから離れている

b) In such a situation/ you could say/ like this.
　　　　　そんな時は、こう言ったらいいよ。
　　　in such a situation → その様な状況においては
　　　この場合の could は、仮定法のcould → 出来るだろう,の意

a) Social distancing helps contain/ the spread of coronavirus.
social distancing　は、コロナウイルスの拡散を抑制するんだ
　　 help (to) do(　doは、動詞の原形　この場合、contain ）～するのを助ける
spread → 広がり　contain → 抑制する。抑える

So,/ everyone should be practicing/ social distancing.
　　　だから、皆が、social distancing　を、実行しないといけないんだ。
　　　practice → 実行する

b) Then,/ should I keep the distance/ between people,/ right?
　　　じゃ～、人と人の間に、距離を取ったらいいんだね。
　　　keep the distance → 距離を保つ

　　　人から、どれ位距離を取ったらいいの？

What does " Social distacing " mean?

　　　　あなたも、コロナウイルスが、蔓延しているって、よく知ってるよね。
widespread →　広範囲に及ぶ、広くいきわたる、

b) When we put/ " Social distancing "/ into Japanese,
　　　　" Social distancing " を、日本語に訳すと、

it means/ " Keep distance from people/ and avoid contact.
　　　　人と距離を置いて、接触を避ける事、と言う意味になるよ。

　　　put A into B →　A を B に翻訳する　　　keep distance →　距離を保つ
　　　avoid → 避ける contact →　接触

and a member of the society/ is the only one way/ to overcome this difficulty.

8. The emergency declaration,/ which had been issued/in 7 prefectures/
　　　　16日迄、７都府県に出されていた、緊急事態宣言は、
　　　　emergency declaration → 緊急事態宣言 issue →　出す、発行する

　　　　until 16th,/ was expanded/ to the whole of Japan/ on 17th April.
　　　　4月17日、全国に拡大された。
　　　　　expand → 拡大する、広げる

9. We have no choice /but/to endure this turmoil/ until the coronavirus
　　　　私達は、このコロナウイルスが、消え去るまで、ただ、この騒動を、耐え忍ぶしかない。
