公園封鎖は、過剰反応？１－１

1. The state of emergency/ was lifted,/ and people gradually
緊急事態宣言が解除となり、公園にも
　　　（state of emergency　→　緊急事態宣言　state → 状態　lift → 解除する）

began to gather/ in the park.
　　　徐々に人が集まり始めた
　　　（ gather → 集まる）

2. Some local gavernments/ closed the park/ and banned the use
　　　公園を閉鎖し、遊具の使用を禁止した自治体があった一方、
　　　（ local government → 地方自治体　　ban → 禁止する　the use → 使用、use→名詞）

of play equipment,/ while others continued to open normally.
　　　通常通り開放を続けた自治体もあった。
　　　　（ equipment → 装置、設備　play equipment → 遊具）

3. The infection has never spread/ among children/
　　　遊具で遊んだ子供たちの間で、感染が広がった例は無い。　
　　　（ infection → 感染　 spread → 広がる　among → ～の間で、）
　　「spread（現在）-spread（過去）-spread（過去分詞形）」　has spread → 現在完了
who have played/ with play equipment.

Therefore,/ there's an opinion/ that the closure of the park
　　　　そこで、公園の閉鎖は、過剰反応だったのではないか、との意見が出ている。

was an over-reaction.
