　　　　言い換えると、　　禁煙しても、　　　重症化のリスクは、避けられないが、

but the remaining cells are resilient.

　　　　残っている細胞は、回復力がある。

　　　　avoid →避ける　severe disease →重病、重症　 remain →残る　　cell →細胞

　　　　resilient →病気等から回復が早い
